ORIGIN Systems - Ultima VI: TFP (Initial Combat)

The first real glimpse of The False Prophet lies in this video. The interface for UVI was also used in the Ultima spin off titles Savage Empire and Martian Dreams.

Combat is turn-based, and you can choose between various AI settings for your teammates during combat, obviously the best choice is "Command", which allows you to manually move your party around. This is the only way to play UVI without your party members dying from utter stupidity, the AI really isn't all that smart by itself.

Notice how shitty Iolo's aim is, one bolt is off by an entire ninety degrees.

After I kill the gargoyles (who followed me through the moongate if you recall the text from the second part of the intro) I loot their corpses and equip some items, the interface makes the inventory easily accessible so there isn't a bunch of windows cluttering up the view, this wasn't necessarily a problem in earlier Ultima games, but Ultima VII did pose some annoyances when trying to rearrange your whole party's inventory, which could be extremely annoying at times.

I don't know why I kept in the copy protection with British, you have to look through the manual for the answers to his questions, I probably could have answered one or two of them without looking, but I wanted to make sure. He also outlines the next step of your quest (talk to Geoffery and ask about helping with the shrines) and gives some details on the current state of affairs in Britannia.

Naturally, the retard wants the Avatar to fix everything again while he sits in his castle and stares into space.
