WinWorldPc.com a place with lots of beta's and abandonware. For free

Yeah, I just want you to stop bugging me eg ' Where do I get this' and 'VHD?' . So here you can get most betas and abandonware. Most of it is leaked from BA. The only bad thing about this site is it doesn't have as great a collection as betaarchive eg 'WIndows 7 beta's'. So yeah, just wanted to let you know... www.winworldpc.com

Today is the day Windows 2000 & Windows XP SP2 are no longer supported

Today is the day Windows 2000 that will no longer be supported and it's classified as abandonware. Windows XP SP2 supports as well so if you have Windows XP SP2 upgrade to SP3 now. If you a want link to SP3 I'll put in the description or PM the link. I'm going to use Windows 2000 because everything I need and all my software & hardware works fine. If any Windows 2000 Haters saying Win2k sucks or useless it's not. Windows 2000 still good for stuff and runs programs that XP can't not run to mention I already have Windows 7. I can programs like iTunes,Firefox,Opera, and Virtual PC on Windows 2000. This is my tribute to Windows 2000 and Windows 2000 is still the best OS better any other classic version of Windows. In fact they make programs for Windows 98 like KernelEx a program compatibility layer for modern applications. Windows 2000 still supports USB flash drives and Firefox 4. Gold Digger - Mac Abandonware

Prrffft, the description I wrote was deleted because my upload crashed. Stupid computer. Great music, fun little game! Another old favourite from the days of the Macworld demo discs. Actually, I think I got this one off "The Mac", which was another magazine that we used to get. Scores of great shareware titles on those discs, and some real awful ones too!

JFK Reloaded | Kills & Crashes

....................DISCLAIMER...................... I did not create JFK Reloaded and did not create the song! Where were you when John F Kennedy was assassinated?" Whereas September 11th is now etched into popular culture as a defining moment of history, JFK's assassination is probably regarded as one of the 20th century's most infamous events -- especially to those who were around at the time. Being the youngster that I am, I wasn't around then, so it's not something I can relate to on a personal level. Computer games have always used historical events as their backdrop: just look at how many World War 2 themed games there are. That said, computer games generally skirt around "taboo" subjects, even if they have been visited time and time again in literature and cinema. After all, games are interactive right? So no game company wants to be branded a provocateur, after all, we've got to think of the children! Therefore it caused quite a stir, when on November 22, 2004; Scotland based Traffic Games released "JFK Reloaded" -- 3D, first-person perspective, "assassination simulator". The premise is simple enough: you (the player) are Lee Harvey Oswald, you are in the infamous book repository and you have a gun, and we all know what happens next. Or do we? According to Traffic Games, the whole point of JFK Reloaded was to help prove that there was indeed no big conspiracy, just one nut-job with a gun that got lucky. To this effect, it stays true to the actual event as ...
